Paper towel or toilet tissue all the way. There's no way I'm going to touch something in a public restroom knowing what some people do.
I understand everyones concerns in this area, but how do you deal with the actual toilet/seat ??

<= Lives in a dorm with lots of public bathrooms, would look pretty stupid if he flushed with his foot.

Bathrooms ARE cleaned from time to time you know.

Its not like the handle is soaked in piss.

And I'm washing my hands, so if there is a little residue, oh well.

I read somewhere awhile back that in the course of opening doors in a day, you will have effectively held 15 units.

Shoes all the way.

oh man, some people are far too worried about germs/bacteria

i keep seeing everyone using all kind of anti-bacterial products, antibac toothpaste, antibac floor wipes, antibac sprays and so on.

if you want to eat off the floor i can understand but for the love of god man, touching the door in a public toilet will not give you sars.

do you take the same care with money?
someone might have passed it through thier system, then thrown it, do you wash it before you pick it up in the street? hell no.

everyone is so afraid of germs they don't realise the more pressing issues of violence, guns, drug abuse, poverty and squeegy related deaths.

Shoe usually and I wash my hands right before eating always.
