And another question... what is a "black thing" and what makes it a "black thing"

I mean come on, if you're white, and you wear FUBU and listen to rap, that's just retarded.

I don't think white people should listen to gangster rap (there are some rappers that whites can listen to, but not others). And white people have no business wearing FUBU or Sean John or any other "rap clothing."

Oh please, please, JLGatsby... tell me what else I should avoid to make sure I'm acting white enough. :disgust:

So now you're stereo typing as well? I know several black guys that ride Harleys and wear black leather and Levi's. They know they are black. They just choose a different life style than others.

I am confused, so are black people allowed to "act white" in your book? Can whites "act asian?"

Well, depends how to define "act white."

Most things white people do are not "white exclusive." Most white people do things that is open to everyone.

However, if a black person grew a mullet, lived in a trailer, listened to country, and drove a pick up, that would be incorrect.

I would like to see you walk into a trailer park and explain that to the black guy with the mullet.

Iusually don't care how others act, but when it goes over the top (i.e. trying to be a "gangsta from teh ghetto" when your father is mayor, welcome to my town)

Ya they're stupid.... And the urban term for them is wigger (along with wangsta).
If you ask me, it's common slang. Should you be banned for excessive use, probobly, but if you call somebody who very obviously is one

Note: Blacks can also be wiggers, kinda. If they come from a non-ganster (??) background, and pretend to be "gangstas", then to me, they're also wiggers

Does anybody like to get called name?
How is calling a group of people wigger any different then calling black people N1gers. Both terms have only one purpose: to insult.
I hope the people that voted no in the poll can understand this concept. Maybe somebody else can explain this better than me.

JL "Ghetto" Gatsby

You made an honest point in observation. Your reasoning behind it however, was biased & flawed.

Just let everyone take out their fustration & move on. Half of them knew what you ment.

That's a silly reason.

N*gger, sp*c, f*g, k*ke, ch*nk, none of them apply to me.
I find them all offensive.

Even though I dislike people who pretend to be something the definatly aren't (like the kid in my previous post), I usually don't insult them

In case anybody were wondering, I don't support insulting maliciously. However, if you deserve it, you deserve it. Randomly calling people wiggers though (as I got the feeling you were doing in w/e you were playing) is not right. These people who you're insulting, don't deserve it.

My conclusion: Wigger isn't incredibly offensive, though it is insulting. The OP deserved to be banned becasue he was insulting people who didn't deserve it

Personally I don't find it offensive, it just makes the person who uses it look kinda silly. Wigger is a very "90's" word, like rad or bodacious and makes anyone who uses it look very 'dated'.

consider what the term is used for.

What I mean is, I wouldn't be offended if someone used the term to describe me. I'd be confused. Same as if someone called me a n!gger. Because that would make no sense. I realize that it is offensive - it is an insult, all insults are offensive to the people being insulted. But I'm not going to get all worked up because of something an ignorant person says.

Yeah but FUBU stands for "For us, by us." Where "us" is black people. But I see no reason why a white person can't listen to rap or wear Sean John.

Some rap white people can listen to. Other rap music they cannot.

How does it make sense for a white person to listen to a rapper who uses the word "cracker" like Jay Z or 50 Cent?

Would a black person listen to a white musician who used the "n" word? I bet they wouldn't.

Given that there were much less white kids acting black back in the 90s than today, I would say the term is more relevant than it's ever been.

I take nothing on the internet serious, although I'm often highly entertained by reading the reactions and views of others. In real life, its childish and close-minded to call anyone a negative name based on their appearance or mannerisms - especially if youre an adult.
