I'm not racist but I do admit I think racist jokes can be funny.

An oldie but funny:

NO.

I tend to laugh at really, really inappropriate things. Racism is probably the lighter side.

Some people don't quite understand that you're not necessarily mocking the race/gender/dead baby/national tragedy in question...humor is a release; making light of something 'serious' does not make you a bad person.

Agreed.
I don't agree at all with the content but sometimes a joke can be so obviously rude or sarcastic of society that because they are so rude or shocking that they are funny.

Example 1:

Example 2:

Again I 100% disagree with the above, but sometimes it is so shockingly rude and incredulous that it does come across as funny, such as how the stunts in "Jackass" as so shockingly stupid that come across as funny.

LOL I like the fact that the N word is censored, but much worse words like fuck, arn't.

Fuck, a common exclamation, is worse than a universally demeaning slur? Yes, of course it is, obviously.

Wait, since when do we have censorship around here anyway? Testing:

just because certain words aren't censored does not mean you get to use them without consequences.

LOL, out of all that the only thing censored is something I can hear on youtube or the radio inside of five minutes?

Have to appease those who can't take any sort of offense that is related to their race so...

I like the ones about nationalities more because you can relate them to a culture, race provides only a few very offensive jokes which everybody knows already so they're of absolutely no use.

Still voted yes because the first time I heard them they were funny, also because it's non-PC territory. I never had a racist joke directed against me though.

It is said that Mohandas Ghandi was asked, "What is your opinion of American civilization?"

His reply: "I think it would be an excellent idea."

Yes it does.

You don't have a sense of cruel humor.

You like dead baby jokes?

How do you unload a dumptruck full of dead babies?

- With a Pitchfork

What's worse than that?

- Live one at the bottom

What's worse than that?

- It's eating it's way out

What's worse than that?

- it went back for seconds

The absolute best "racist" jokes come from the race itself!
I used to watch BET, those black guys would tell it like it is, "Can I get my water in my Momma name?"!

I think what most people consider to be an unacceptable racist joke is one that directly (or perhaps indirectly) references that group's subjugation at some point in history. Say for example if there were jokes going around about 'rat-faced Jews' in Germany in the WW2 era, that falls into the criteria I've just outlined.
