Do you find it odd that Obama is on TV everyday?

Everyday its a press conference for this, a press conference for that, here, there, everywhere a press conference. You have to admit President Bush wasnt on TV everyday. I think since Barrack took office he has gone a total of 3 or 4 days without commenting before reporters about something.

Doesn't that seem odd? 😕

Barak.

There's more to the president's job than just signing bills from Congress. Part of the job as head of state is guiding government policy and selling the public on your ideas.

Well, we're being sold something. Question is what.

The bill my grand kids and their kids are gonna have to pay off are already huge and the spending has just begun.

For that to happen, you'd have to get a woman to touch you.

lol - my kids range in age from 44 to 38 - too late fool.

Not odd at all.

Yes there is nothing odd about a president being on late night TV. That was absolutely stupid just like he seems to be. Making fun of the special olympics anyone?

I didn't really like Bush either, but Obama is a grade A douche. Government spending is out of control. Being honest about it on TV doesn't make it better.

It beats fireside chats.
Well, not really. SlitheryDee has it right.

And no, I don't find it odd. It's expected, if you paid any attention to his presidential campaign and have the gist of who he is as a political figure.

Would you rather he spend his presidency hanging out at his ranch in Texas?

And whoring out homeland security positions to ignorant fucks who are more worried about people wanting less government than actual terrorists.

I dont find it odd at all. You all are just too used to the Bush regime, where every interaction with the media was scripted and kept to a minimum.

I like the president giving a daily address. It keeps the people more involved and gives us more access to whats going on.

Haven't really thought about it. I watch the news everyday at lunch and although he is on quite a bit, he is a new president and there's a lot of shit going on.

I find it odd that Obama and all of his minions are constantly traveling around the country and to other countries. With the country the way it is, if you ask me they should be locked up in a room for about 6 months until they figure shit out.

It is normal for the first 100 days of a presidency, because this is when the press is trying to find out how an administration will act. After a couple of years they become more predictable so the press conferences aren't covered so much.

Doesn't it cost alot of money for every trip? First, theres food costs and air force one. Then security plus the motorcade. Must amount to a few million per trip. He's more wasteful than AIG executives.
