I don't necessarily disagree with you on spending, I just think it's ridiculous that people are making an issue out of the president getting on TV and trying to explain his policies to the American people. It's one of those damned if you do, damned if you don't things. Some people will just find any little thing to complain about.

I think he's done the late night circuit a couple of times too many already, but other than that he's on TV b/c he's the POTUS and he's giving a speech every day... somewhere... and the cameras are there.

Every time I ride the Metro I see assloads of posters, T-shirts, mugs, caps, all with this dude. There are several stores all around DC with nothing but Obama junk in them. I think black folks need to wake up and realize he is not Lincoln, he is not Dr. King, he's not even that great so far. He needs to do a lot of good things before we can love him unconditionally.
