- I eat the green parts of my strawberries.
- I don't spit out watermelon seeds.
- I sometimes eat the core / seeds of an apple.

Am I strange?

butter, salt, pepper. sour cream and chives. chili and cheese. chopped egg and bacon bits. pepperoni, basil, marinara, mozzarella, parmesan and romano.

Not normally all at once, unless I've been enjoying the weed or something.

Have done all these, including "enjoying the weed", except for pepperoni and mozzarella, not that I'm opposed to either. Why not? A baked potato is an excellent and robust recipient for the grace notes of taste topping tasty bits.

Staying healthy, I often use a combo of fresh squeezed lemon and fresh cracked pepper. It delivers taste w/o the artery clogging calories.

And yes, I always eat the skins. They're delicious, and the skins are where the extra vitamins are!

Anyone know if this is true or BS?

If you eat an apple, eat the whole apple including the seeds. If do that once or twice a day you will greatly reduce risk of cancer. Also I remember reading somewhere that it requires a certain enzyme (found only cancer cells) needed in order to activate the cyanide molecule otherwise it is harmless to body. But I must warn you that I’m not a chemist and I have no way of verifying that claim, but I’ve been consciously eating fruits with their seeds (daily) for years and I’m a 34yo male in excellent health and rarely get sick maybe the occasional sniffle once or twice throughout the year.

Maybe BS...but I heard something similar in the mid-nineties; and I'm not sure exactly where I heard it. I think it was some kind of creationist seminar I attended with my mother as a child.

Gotta be total BS. As I've told my mother many times: Cancer cells are chemically indistinguishable from the original mutated cell. The only difference is a genetic flaw that results in rapid / out-of-control cellular reproduction.

Something about the cyanide in apple seeds. It does take a lot but yeah...

Nothing wrong with the green parts of strawberries. I've often eaten them even as I was cutting them off to prepare the berries for serving.

As for those seeds, I haven't eaten them but I strongly doubt they would harm you. Seeds are, by definition, packed full of all the nutrient good stuff needed to bring a new plant to fruition.

Yes it always tastes the best. Butter Sour Cream Salt and Pepper for me. I just find potato boring but with skin its amazing.
