Cheese is good. Cheese curds are awesome. Too bad I can't find them in Texas. Only good thing about Wisconsin is cheese curds.

Why not take a lactaid when you eat? Just pop a tablet with your first bite of a dairy product and you can have as much as you want. It totally works for me.

Cottage cheese and Brie cheese ftw.

We tease that my great grandmother is in her great condition because she eats cottage cheese everyday.

10 years ago, when I had more time and money, I used travel around rural wisconsin, I was site seeing, but also stopping by the cheese factories and few micro breweries as I went along.

oh man is was great................I gained weight too, but have since lost most of it.

nothing like fresh curds just out of the vat, still warm

Who has acne when they eat cheese?

You should be drinking 2 gallons of water per day if you have acne problems.

if it does the trick is to drink dark beer with it and some water afterwards, it balances things out

i don't even know how to respond to this idiotic comment.

cheese has a lot of fat. i drink a lot of water per day but it has been proven that diet affects acne. i don't consume a lot of dairy products because of that. that includes cheese because it has even higher amounts of fat then other dairy products.

Yes, I'm lactose intolerant, but this happened when I was 25. I was able to eat and love cheese before that time, it's what makes it so difficult.

Rogo, my wife developed lactose intolerance a couple of years ago. (maybe she always was and just never knew?)
We're both in our 50's and used to eat lots of cheeses, but now it's pretty uncommon.
Once in a while she'll use a bit of cheese when she cooks, a bit of shredded parmesan, that kind of thing, but unless I scecifically ask for it, she never buys cheese for eating anymore.
I guess I can always go for a cheeseburger if I really crave cheese...;)

Dunno if anyone has mentioned it in this thread, but there's this product called Digestive Advantage - Lactose Intolerance Therapy.

Anyways, it's a once a day pill..it puts some bacteria in your digestive tract that eats up lactose - that way you don't need to take it with every meal, just in the morning. I take one in the morning and one at night as I'm pretty bad.

When I eat some lactose now, I just get a bit bloated for a little while. A lot better than what it was.
