I honestly don't get the attraction. (Probably just "Old man-itis")

If I want great tasting Mexican food I usually just hit up one of the local Taco Trucks.

If I want a sit down Mexican meal I go to a restaurant...owned by the same people that have the Taco Truck.

The attraction is that it's a large chain which serves decent mexican/tex mex inspired food with high quality ingredients.

I love me mom/pop + taco trucks too, but honestly the chicken from chipotle usually surpasses the mom/pop shops.

But seriously, does anyone not like Schlotzsky's? Their bread is amazing, the entire sammich is a gift from God. Aside from the price, there isn't a thing I don't like about Schlotzsky's.

I like them but there's not many around any more. Also lots of salt in general.

my order pretty much every time i go:

Bowl
Ask for burrito tortilla on the side
White rice
black beans and pinto beans
half chicken / half steak
fajita veggies
hot and mild salsa
cheese
lettuce

(you'll be charged the steak price but you almost always get more meat serving when you go half half on the meat)

and then go across the shopping center to grab an avocado 😀

In honor of this thread now posting from a chipotle. Forgot to specify half and half meat.

I don't really get the hype. We have a Chipotle, a Qdoba, and a taco bell within a few blocks of each other. Qdoba is the best of the 3, followed closely by chipotle. I don't think either one is leaps and bounds better than taco bell.

Chipotle is way different depending where you eat it. Down in South Florida its generally tasty. I and my brother had it in Toronto and it was terrible... so maybe your state just sucks?

doesn't just depend on where, depends on who you get to scoop stuff for you too.

Have never tried it I guess personally.

We usually make our own at home if in the mood for Mexican.

It's not a complex thing.

So much this. And if you're female or not. I can order the exact same thing as my fiancée and I'll have 1.5-2x more in my bowl. There are Chipotles we don't go to anymore cause of how much they skimp.

This happened at a Chipotle recently.

You're working in sweatshop conditions because you are fuckin illegal aliens (& kin) and they wanna cut costs.

And if you arent, you'll soon be replaced by them.
