Do you drink regularly?

In high school and college, I only drank and got drunk at parties and only while playing drinking games. I never really liked the taste of alcohol.

A couple years out of college I developed an "allergy" to alcohol. Just a few sips make me sick. So, I don't drink anymore.

By drink, in this case I mean get drunk. Not just have a beer.

Based on my posting habits in "ATOT Drunks Report In" I get the impression that either I drink more than many members here, or at least I post about it afterwards.

So what say you? How often are you drunk?

Once. Not interested in doing it again - I don't like having a fuzzy brain.

I partied pretty hard in college, but ever since graduation I barely drink. Maybe once a week. I enjoy a good beer or a nice glass of wine, but meh.

I haven't been pissed up in quite sometime. Alcohol is a major migraine trigger for me....well, I get a headache, and the headache is actually the trigger for a migraine.

Depends on what my plans are. If I'm drinking at a good friend's house, then its likely OK for me to spend the night. I'll drink and crash there. If I'm at home, its a drink or two. If I'm out a restaurant/bar/pub, then I drink only 1 because I usually have to drive.

Been drunk once. Didn't really feel that different, and apparently nobody I talked to could tell the difference, except I was apparently a bit more flushed than usual. I didn't know myself until my friend dropped my off at my place and I tried to walk up the driveway... 😀

Why hasn't anyone started a HAL scroll yet?

Bisexual
Bipolar
Attention whore
Has some kind of semi-diagnosed personality disorder
Solicits advice that he ignores - then asks how to fix what he did

And now...

Apparently...

Alcoholic.

I've never understood this "Buzz" thing, In the UK if you are slightly drunk or before drunk you are tipsy.

Slightly drunk/tipsy = buzz. Not quite drunk drunk...but definitely starting to feel the alcohol.

I'm guessing you have your wife or family to thank for helping/encouraging you from drinking yourself to the grave?

My wife.

Oddly enough, I don't think I ever missed a day of work because I was too hungover or still too drunk to go. I MIGHT not have been quite 100%, but on those days, I always worked harder, pushed my self harder, and maybe even pushed my crews harder than on a "normal" day.

beers or something most days a week, drunk? eh...i like to get a good buzz, maybe once a week, but really drunk? eh, maybe once a month

/love, love beer

Simple.

He annoys us. We don't start scrolls on people who annoy us.

It would be like keeping a "Scroll of Lies" for McOwned.

noone gives a crap about him or what he thinks or does.

No. Most alcohol gives me a headache. Especially beer and wine.

I got away with Tequila for awhile, a few years ago I worked up to a bottle a week. Then the headaches came back so now, just a shot here and there.

I used to drink all the time, multiple times a week and every friday and saturday. Nowdays i just smoke pot, might drink once a month max.
