I once dreamed about a great aunt that died while I was very young. I can't recall any actual memories about her. I can't remember anything that she said or did. I don't know what she was like, but many years ago I had a dream in which the only thing I can recall is her face, in black and white. The only way I can confirm this is by the fact that I can pick her out of a group picture unerringly. I've often had dreams that I believed were in color since then, but I wonder if I only made the grass in my dreams seem green in my memories because I know that grass is green.

I really don't know whether I dream in color or not.

Which is much like I have been for many decades. Never anything, of a certain color, that I could recall for sure. I'm 50, grew up with B&W TV, still watch old movies and historical documentaries, and the inside of my eye lids.

I can't figure out how so many people can say they dream in color when the odds are against it according to researchers. Also, people with red hair have a slightly higher occurance of dreaming in color.
