Wallet in your back pocket will screw up your back over time, it shifts your spine out of line.

Been carrying one back there for 30 some years now and my spine is fine.

My step-dad's spine is messed up and causes him lots of problems now because of a wallet.

I carry this money clip. I really like it, and overall I think Levenger has a high-quality product. I much prefer this style of money clip to the kind that has an actual metal clip. Those are annoying and far less classy than something like this, imo.

I'd like to know how that was concluded.

I'll ask him tonight after I take my last exam.

Bifold for carrying my badge, but I usually leave my wallet hidden in my car because I can't stand sitting on the damn thing. So, when I need cash I just pull some out and leave the wallet behind.

I pretty much only carry it on me when I go to the bank or grocery store.

Tri-fold in back right pocket. Only credit cards and ID's in it though. I carry cash folded once in my front pocket. Gotta keep those pick-pockets on their toes. (CC's are AMEX so I'm covered)

I guess it might depend on how thick the wallet is. I see guys with wallets crammed full of everything put the kitchen sink and the wallet end sup being like 2" thick. I can't imagine wtf is in them.

i carry a trifold wallet with a metal danzig skull emblem on it in my back pocket. chain attached over my right front pocket. it has my license, credit cards and kids ID cards in it. alsoa few memory things, and a few pictures. its fairly bulky sometimes, so i thin it out often. oh, i also keep a few business cards in it for when i forget to refill the stack in my laptop case.

If you have a fat wallet in your back pocket and you sit a lot, your lower back will curve to whatever side your wallet is on. It's not hard to believe this could cause problems with some people.

Do you guys carry a wallet, money clip, no wallet? big wallet, small wallet?
Do you carry it in front pockets, back pockets?

I personally have a regular standard wallet and carry it in front pocket. I was reading this article on one of those Men! magazines saying how big wallets and specially carried in the back pocket is so old style!

If you want to cut down on the size of the wallet, what do you suggest should be carried in it.
I have personally have 4 CC's, Bank Card, License, School ID, Insurance card, library card, 3 PBA cards and money...

update:
Here is the article about the Bifold wallet in back pocket.

Link

Writers for those magazines are paid to make that kind of crap up.

Use the kind of wallet you like.

Sure I carry a wallet. Holds important stuff like insurnace, racetrack rewards card, credit/debit cards, costco card, etc.

No I don't get my fashion sense from a magazine. Those guys are idiots.

I hate carrying my wallet around with me. I often leave it locked in my car while at school, I only bring it if I am going to buy something. Also it works to keep me from spending money on stupid things.

Not really. I can bet I can go without my wallet for most of the day. Going to school doesn't require much money. I only really need my wallet becuas eI'm a lazy@$$ and when I see a bus I'll hop on and I need my bus pass, but it's not like I can't walk.

I don't get people who don't have wallets.

Where is the option for too damn much? My bi-fold wallet sits in my right rear pocket and contains....

Drivers License
Social Security Card
ATM / Debit Card
2 Credit Cards
3 different Video Rental Cards
Insurance Card
2 - Bank Member Reference Cards
Customer Appreciation Card for Car Dealer
Sam's Club Membership Card
Library Card
Key Card for work
17 different business cards.
Various receipts that are so old they are now faded.

.... and some cash.

Time to clean this thing out again.

regular wallet in side pocket

university ID
debit card
medical insurance card
Sam's Club card
learner's permit
gym membership card
laser tag card (what's this doing in here...?)
library card

some receipts...some money....

Leather tri-fold with no money (cause I have none), few credit cards, ATM card, driver's license, school ID, a card with some "in case of emergency call..." numbers on it, and my social security card because I forgot to take it out. Would hate to have to get that replaced if I ever lost my wallet.

Well, being a real man and not some metro *** I carry a plain old leather tri-fold in my back pocket. I've had the same wallet for almost 14 years now.
