Tri-fold, right side pocket, carrying: cash, license, school ID, library card, any gift cards that I might impulsively use, AAA card, insurance card.

Wallet in jacket if wearing jacket, cash and cards in pocket if not. I can't carry a wallet in my jeans anymore, it's uncomfortable, and looks like ******.

I am married so I don't really care..... but when in the world did having a wallet in your back pocket become "uncool" or look bad?

I've been carrying the same wallet for 26 years. I don't think I'm going to ditch it because some poofette thinks it's unfashionable.

bi-fold, back right pocket:
2 CC ( 1 personal, 1 company)
2 debit
1 DL
phone list
insurance card
english/spanish cheatsheet

Edit: I also wear pants w/ cargo pockets which would probably cause the author to stroke out.

Wallet in your back pocket will screw up your back over time, it shifts your spine out of line.

Been carrying one back there for 30 some years now and my spine is fine.

My step-dad's spine is messed up and causes him lots of problems now because of a wallet.

I'd like to know how that was concluded.

I'll ask him tonight after I take my last exam.

Shifts your spine? What was he doing, sitting on it?

Used to carry a bi-fold wallet, but found that it stretched the pocket on slacks, pants, jeans, etc. Now I just use a billfold on some occasions which is kept in the jacket pocket, but primarily just cash in the front pant pockets. Use a card sleeve for bank card, license, and few bus. cards.

Other pant pocket I use to hold ~$5 in spare change.

/jk although it always seemed as if my grandfather carried that amount of change in his pockets, in addition to a swiss army knife and pocket watch.

I carry a bi-fold leather wallet with the following inside: DL, insurance card, AAA card, student ID, ~$50 cash

Tri-fold wallet in the back-right pocket. I don't see any other way to securely carry your cash and cards with you. If my back-right pocket feels light, I immediately check it, that's how used to it I am.

i keep my wallet in my back pocket simply because its the only place I can keep it. If I'm wearing a coat, it feels annoying when its in my chest pocket.

I don't think a money clip would work as well for me. I have to carry around quite a few cards (im a student) and cash.

While the author of the article has a point, I think she takes it too far. In the pursuit of being "stylish," they suggest sacrificing a lot of practicality. C'mon, its a wallet for chrissake, its not like you're carrying a wooden block. And they say we're "insecure...." lol, the irony.
