Do you buy bean burritos from a gas station?

I used to buy bean and cheese burritos from local convenience stores / gas stations back in the late 80s and early 90s. I forgot how good these were until I bought a shredded fajita beef, bean and jalapeno burrito from QuickTrip last night.

Man it was good.

Yes, those are unquestionably good (usually ). But Im talking about frozen or somewhat cold burritos sitting in a food shelf at the petrol station. Have you had one of those?

I once bought a cheeseburger off of a gas station...the kind that was under a heat lamp for hours. I remember picking it up and thinking, "I'll probably get really sick from this...meh." That cheeseburger was quite possible the most disgusting thing I've ever had. I ended up eating all of it because I wanted to prove my manliness.

i had a burn down to ct...it was 3pm hadnt eaten a thing
well the smell an a ~2 hr old footlong aluured me it was a a foil wrap
i got a gatorade and some lays
thru some onions on and it was like heaven...awesome!
this was maybe after 20hrs w/o food
after 3 or 4 days bug would prolly taste good
all food is food

IMO, ANYWHERE you buy a bean burrito is a "gas station."

ya i do sometimes, they are pretty bad for you. the bigger ones (14oz) are like 750-900 cal and are listed as 2 servings. the single serving ones are up to 540cal and both have way too many carbs/ fat and crap in them. but damn they are tasty. my fave is the red hot beef and bean. when i was younger and working manual labor jobs id eat them for breakfast and burn it off at work.

i could never eat the been ones. but in the early 90's there was a beef and chicken one that was very spicy and very good. it cam ein a single serving box for $1 each.
