No. I think "true" love takes a loooong time to develop. I always cringe when I hear someone say that they believe at love at first sight or that they fall in love easily, because what they are feeling is not true love. And strangely enough, what comes quickly can also go quickly.

I didn't know my current girlfriend when I first saw her, yet I leaned over to my buddy and said, "I'm going to marry that girl right there," and pointed a finger at her. He called my bluff, as all good friends do.

So anyways, a few weeks later I make it my business to meet her, and I am then sure. Granted, she had a boyfriend at the time. He was quick work. After meeting me before Christmas break, and not having me over the break, when I finally saw her again in January, she told me that she dumped him and wanted to be with me. So yeah...it was a love at first sight for us both.

AWWWWWWWWWW...LOL

There's the initial attraction, of course, but 'love', and any other developed emotion, is much deeper than that.

It can happen. It happened to me too. The difference between love at first sight and thinking you liked someone a lot is the blindness part. If the love persists it will be true love, if it doesn't it wont feel as strong afterwards.

It does depend on how strong it was to begin with of course, and whether it was love or lust.

Lust at first sight. That can lead to love once you get to know the person.

Lust at first sight is very possible but love....NAH!....would be pretty meaningless IMO if it happens instantly...
