No to all.
There are a lot of people who beilieve in crap because it is really easy to convince yourself of things. None of it is actually real though.
We really need to find that pesky series of base-pairs that makes murder, rape and turture ok, among other things.
What does that even mean?
The group of genes that forms the God Spot.... that gives rise to religion. Gross oversimplification, but you get the point.
God Spot:
A tiny locus of nerve cells in the frontal lobe of the brain that appears to be activated during religious experiences. Neuroscientists from the University of California discovered the God Spot while studying epileptic patients who have intense mystical experiences during seizures.
I'm highly suspicious of such things.
Are you a Neurologist (M.D.) or intellectual? (Ph.D.).
I am neither, nor am I a fan of religion, but I am suspicious of unverified studies, and I find it hard to believe that we would have evolved such a center.
The person who conducted the experiment is one of the most respected neuroscientists in the world. Genetics has formed the basis for everything else up until now, why not God too?
