Haha if I told you there was 1 book that had the secrets to life, and it wasn't the bible, would you believe me? No, of course not. SO WHY THE FVCK SHOULD I BELIEVE YOU?
find that book and prove that is has absolutly without a doubt anything that can't be disproven and I might question it. (none exist but search to your hearts content)

I stand for what I believe in, if you don't like it, tough, I will not hide in a corner when everyone else is so afraid to stand up for what they know is right because of fear of persicution or rejection. The United States was built on a Christian foundation, and everyone is free to worship who or what they like (freedom of religion). However it has gotten to the point today as a majority that truth is considered relative. You believe what you believe, but if I don't believe what you believe then am I supposed to acknowledge that your truth is truth even if it can't be proven.

I would like to see the proof that your truth is THE truth.

read the book that is linked. As I said you are free to worship/believe what you like. Accepting something as true and something being true are totally different.

yes I do.

"Muse - thoughts of a dying atheist"

Thats a cool song.

That song popped into my head as I read the thread title. I mean imagine being an atheist right before you die... there's no harm in believing there's somthing after all this.

Could you just suddenly believe in Santa, or in humans' ability to walk upside-down without the aid of technology?
Well if you believe in that stuff good for you. Who's to say what you should or you shouldn't believe in.

All I mean is that, harm or no, for better or worse, I can't just up and believe in all that. It seems absurd, to me. TBH I'd rather be religious, but you can't just snap your fingers and believe in that stuff.

That is exactly my point. If I come to you with some unproven crap you aren't going to believe me. So why are you spouting your unproven crap and calling it truth? Is anyone gonna take your word for it?
