Do you accidentally REPLY ALL?

Been tempted a few time as I work in a large company and I get emails meant for someone else with my name just to show how stupid the sender is.

Depends on what I'm replying to, but if there's different companies involved with different instructions, I'll reply all. But yeah, usually I forget and hit just Reply, never Reply All by accident.

Nope, I've never accidentally replied to all when I didn't want to or vice versa. I always double-check to make sure my email goes out to the right people.

what happened at work once, was that this idiot user had some problem with a legacy application. didn't know what to do, so he sent a mail asking for help. but he sent the mail to two groups that include that about everybody. including the say the equivalent of the ceo and all the higher ups. the idiot didn't check. now what happened, is that people started doing a reply to all. (this forum would include, say 4000 people?)

people keep telling them to stop (using reply to all). it eventually stopped but the only thing i can say is thank god for shift delete...

I have never accidentally used it but I have to use it quite frequently as a CYA feature. When people at our company have an IT problem or think they have an IT problem they like to copy their boss and their bosses boss so I have to use reply all so that everyone involves continues to know whats going on lest they only hear one side of the story
