Do we really need guns? Don't you think there are too many crimes involving gun violence? Maybe it would be better to ban firearms completely? It's not like we really need guns for self-defense. I would only use a gun to protect myself only if a criminal had a gun too. It's pretty obviously that the number of gun involved crimes would decrease drastically if the criminals weren't be able to obtain guns legally.

LMAO!!!! If you don't want to own a gun so be it. I use guns to put food on my table. I used to donate venison as well but the government frowns upon that now.

I am not an anti gun nut, in my youth I shot at a gun range were the whole family were members but no we dont. I have never owned a gun and don't see myself ever getting one.

No, I can use my compound bow as well. However, arrows do not tend to kill as quickly as round from a gun and the animal may suffer before dying. It's also quite difficult to kill a hog with a bow as well.

I do find it funny though that the gun nuts can't even answer a simple question without flying off the handle. Trying to have a discussion with a gun nutter is like talking to a religious nut about SSM, totally pointless.

Aside from certain narcotic pharamaceuticals in our current war-on-drugs world, what other products are you required to show a "need" for? Again, I don't think your response would be completely blasé if the OP was asking about whether women "need" abortions or not.

I can show a need for abortions, can you show a need for a gun? When it's a tool it makes doing certain jobs easier but it's not necessary.

Chuck Adams did some tests and found that at point blank range, popular cone-tip broadheads literally bounced off under about 65 pounds draw IIRC. 150 grain 30-06 rounds, not so much.

Do we really need free speech? It can often offend people. I suspect quite a many people are injured and killed due to freely speaking their mind. What about the 4th amendment? Imagine the possibilities to stop crime before it happens if the govt was allowed into our homes? The 5th amendment is a waste as well. So much easier to clean the street by denying due process.

The whole idea that we should violate the constitution because some feel it isnt necessary or under some fools belief guns wont end up in the hands of criminals if the citizens are disarmed is fanatical and crazy.

Yeah, when I need to defend my myself when the cops are 7 minutes away. But the whole argument is flawed anyways. I dont need to prove why the 2nd amendment shouldnt be abolished. You need to prove why it should.
