can you imagine with diarrhea and poop juice soak thru the paper and onto your hand? that is definately unsanitary. espcially since diarrhea is uncontrolled, loose, and frequent you have several chances of getting it onto your hand thru out the day.

Have you ever been to india? I have, Its frickin impossible to find toilet paper, you have to go buy it at a pharmacy where it comes in tiny roles bearly good enough for 2-3 uses. Its fairly expensive considering the low wages people earn. To add to that their sewer system dosent support toilet paper because it wasnt built for it, and mainly because nobody uses it - their flush is as strong as your bathroom faucet, sometimes even less pressure. Oh yeh, and India isn't the only country who still does this.

I'm Asian and before my country was civilized, before there was a sewage system, before anything, and when my country was dirt poor, people still didn't wipe their ass with freaking hand. Even back then, that was considered nasty. People back then used something like a rope, leaf, or anything they could think of.
Sewer system? Have you heard about trash cans?????????? Give 'em a try. They do woders.

Indus Valley Civilization did not have true indoor plumbing. They had open aqueducts that ran parallel to some streets on a grid. Most of the homes in the inner area had a drinking well (not indoor plumbing). They were the first ones to use "the grid" as a basis of an urban city center - and none of the theories that they had a pump system for freshwater been proven or any evidence found ...

I cant invision this....how does it work. i walk into a public bathroom with my trusty bucket. I fill bucket with water from sink i bring bucket into the stall. I take a dump. Then i grab bucket of water and trhow it on my ass and then slide my hand between my cheeks. Then I leave the bathroom half soaked with sh1t on my hand. sweet.

you can use a cup of water man. its not like there's a ton of sh!t on your ass. you only need probably half a cup to have a spotlessly clean ass. use the rest to clean off your hand. finally, use the sink and soap to sanitize your hand.
