My sense of smell and taste is not affected by my smoking as it stands today. I have been a heavier smoker in the past and you're damn right it did then, and I could tell I smelled bad then too.

It varies from person to person, some people don't really smell after smoking and some smell really badly. It probably has something not just with the clothes they have but also their skin and hair maybe they are a bit of different composition and are absorbing the smoke more than in others.

The people who smell the worst live in it. They smoke all day every day, in bed - on the toilet, everywhere. You would be surprised how many idiots there are that smoke 1-2-3 packs a day and just live in that filth. Drive with their windows UP while chain smoking to work. All of that.
