I recently had the misfortune of having to try to install this PO$ software on a board of director's laptop.

The laptop was running windows 98 and TurboTax would simply not install. You have to connect to the internet, register, download a bunch of crap, then the install starts. About half way through it would error out with a "cannot open a file as read only" message. I did everything on the TurboTax website to try to resolve the problem (it's a known issue), but no dice. I even reinstalled Windows 98SE to see if that would fix it. I told the director to take it back and get TaxCut.

Intuit sucks.
