Now I need to resolve:
1) Why Full Screen mode, cuts my FPS in half at times as if my GPU powers down or something? I have to play in Windowed Full Screen instead
2) I've heard about a lot of CFG files that can be used on Aion. I believe it is the configuration file. Do you think you can help me research this? I don't know what I am reading on google...
Are you using the Optimize 1x1 profile?
Here is what happened to me when I played Aion:
1x7970 (or 60% of your 7990) == ~50 FPS max settings @ 1440p
2x7970 (0r about 110% of your 7990) == ~30 FPS max settings @ 1440p (negative scaling with default CFX profile.)
2x7970 with AFR-Friendly == >60 FPS max settings @ 1440p, but with lots of flickering.
2x7970 with Optimize 1x1 == >60 FPS max settings @ 1440p and no flickering.
The way CrossfireX works, using the information I gave you above:
Full Screen == CrossfireX ON
Windowed == CrossfireX OFF
So if it seems half your GPU power goes away with Full Screen ON, I would infer you are using the default CFX profile (ie negative scaling.)
Switching to Windowed mode would turn off CFX thus remove the negative scaling. Outside of reinstalling the game, I don't know if my explanations are helping, but this is how I experienced Aion when I played it. I had to use Optimize 1x1 or I'd get worse performance with two cards than one.
