I definetely lock my doors all the time... hell my roommate even locks them when she walks around the back to the basement to use the laundry & walk back up...

... it's just a good idea when practically (or more actually) live in the ghetto :-/

My parents lock them most of the time but when they arent home I could care less. I just leave it open so my friends can come and go. If anything I dare a person to come in so I can fvck them up.

Yes but I don't believe there is really much point. Even a weak intruder can gain physical access to a house so besides making you aware of it somewhat home security comes in only two forms: 1) Hoping nobody will intrude, and 2) Remote monitored security system.

My parents, for instance, have a deadbolt on their front door. Well by mistake I've already kicked the door in to the house before because the frame is just wood. Plus anybody can break into a window. If you want security you need an alarm system (and no guns do not work when you're not home and I'd rather have a screeching sound + cop cars coming as opposed to a gun fight around my family at 3:00 am).
