Do lock your doors?

I lock them at night yes. I have been known to leave my car unlocked, but sience my friend got hers stolen I have stopped that.
My doors are not locked when I am home. When I leave they get locked.
 
always! Peace of mind even though i have Dawgs.
I think people who don't lock there doors are naive.
and asking for trouble.

Hell yes. I live in a pretty nice area, but you can't be too careful. I'm reminded of this time when my brother was living in the ghetto and left the front door of his apartment unlocked one night. In the morning, he found a bum sleeping on the couch.

absolutely. if you lived where i live, you would.

i also installed bulletproof windows, iron bars over my windows, steel plate in my door, and 4 deadbolts on my door itself.

Yes, but its no big deal if we leave the door open for the night. I dont think anyone randomly walks door to door to check if its unlocked. And if someone wants to get in, they are gonna get in.

the garage door no.

during the day, no on both, as long as someone's home.

i live in a very safe neighborhood... it's one of those beautiful & calm towns but not in the middle of the woods. 30 mins north of Boston and 10 mins from major malls.

Yep..we lock our front door every night...but for the past month or so we haven't chain locked it (b/c of the dog, easier to get in and out when taking her outside to do her business).


We've had times where we completely forgot to close the garage....real scary in the morning to see it still open..

but other than that....doors, windows (unless it's REALLY hot and they're open)...are always locked.
