pins? I'm only familiar with bare speaker wire, trying to find a better-looking option and one that's easier to disconnect.

they sure do look easier. Its just a pain to have to deal with screwing the ends on, then unscrewing them when your wire falls out just to have to screw them back in. Twist your ends and plug your wire in.

You're probably better off soldering them in, if possible, rather than screwing the wires in.
