I don't think I'd get a lot of utility out of it (except maybe gettin' in good with some girls, helpin' em move furniture and stuffs :))...I'm more interested in having a cheap, low-maintenance vehicle with decent mileage and low insurance costs (don't compact pickups have like the lowest insurance rates?) I'm trying not to have more than 30k on my Accord once the lease is up, and I already have 20k and I'm not even halfway through year 2! Most of my commuting is done alone so I don't really care about passenger space.

So you want to save of mileage? Get a mid 90s Civic hatchback (CX if possible). It's power nothing (including the engine :D), but is dead reliable, and gets awesome mileage. No A/C though.

What's a patel ElFenix?

An Indian most likely from the state of Punjab...and very possibly the most common Indian surname in the states.

Patels are from Gujurat, not Punjab. They are into the motel business in the US. They are stereotyped for being stingy (well the "true" Patels anyway).

My bad...I'm always confusing my Punjabis and Gujaratis.
