Do any of you momos put honey on your corn bread?

I didn't even know there was a thing as sweet cornbread until I met my wife and that is how she likes her cornbread. I prefer savory cornbread with butter and a large glass of buttermilk. Or with a big bowl of collard greens and ham hocks.

Sweet "cornbread" is actually Corn Cake.

-That's not cornbread sir, it's your own shit.
1) Not a sir
2) Uh, no, it was definitely cornbread. I could tell, because it was made of cornbread, and not shit. Pretty easy to tell the difference.
I take it you don't pick them out of your bowl floaters, then?

The real question is, before flushing, do you look back at all?
How would they get into my turds when I don't eat the disgusting things?
Oughta tell you something when your own innards have the good sense to disregard them and just pass them through undigested, n'est pas?

Just a little butter on sweet or jalapeno cornbread. I do like honey on the more bland (savory?) cornbread.

Did you mean mofos? I don't know what a momo is.
As to cornbread, can't say I remember the last time I had them and whether they were sweetened.

I'd have thought the dark brown color and greasy texture would be a dead giveaway ?!?

😉

My younger brother used to require that my mom strained the onion-bits out of the only brand of jarred pasta sauce he would eat when I was a kid and he also refused green peas which according to him "smelled like farts" .... some folks never do out-grow eating "phobia's" I guess?

😀

Is corn a whole-grain?

Since you don't eat it how would you actually KNOW this for certain? 😉

Most places around Manchester (US, not UK) seem to add a bit of sugar to their cornbread muffins. Wish they didn't. Warm corn bread + budda is all I need.

Honey on cornbread? What? I've never heard of this. It must be something from those heathens that use sugar when making it.

Any true southerner would save the sugar for the sweet tea exclusively.
