You should probably get a sir charles instead.

Do you mean Prince Albert?

To me nothing says "I like dudes" like pierced nipples. But, to each his own. I'd stick to tattoos and head/face piercings, personally.

i don't think he likes dudes.

A guy I know got a piercing...and after a couple of years of wearing it...he no longer wears it, but his nipple that was pierced looks significantly larger and weird. I would never do it.

I'm just curious, how was the actual piercing compared to that of either ear lobe or ear cartilage? And what about healing pain/discomfort, was it that bad or noticeable?

I'm still debating getting this done, so any thoughts, stories, or advice on the subject would be appreciated.

Trust me from experience, girls love them.

Yeah, ones who have yet to mature enough to realize it's tacky or ones who I'd never want to "bring home to mom."

My fiance loves mine. 🙂 Way to stereotype tho. Had no problem bringing her "home to mom".

obviously your fiance represents 100% of all women.

He's bi.
Edit...I remember reading an article while he was in RHCP where he admitted to being bi.

IN YO FACE! Just kidding, but yeah, there was some dust up when he and Anthony Kiedis kissed or almost kissed or something during a photo shoot. Not really the thing most RHCP fans want to see. Navarro definitely likes ladies, but I think is "open" about guys as well. So see? Point proven.

It depends on your tolerance to pain. My hurt when I had them done, but I wouldn't say it was excruciating. The biggest pain in the ass is cleaning them the first 8 weeks that you have them. After that, I've had no complaints from the ladies and in fact my ex-gf got hers done because I already had mine done.

Do this: Grab your ear lob and squeeze it. Note the discomfort level. Now grab your nipple and squeeze it. Which one hurts more?

I had one done and it hurt like hell. It wouldn't heal up and got infected and I couldn't take the discomfort so I took it out after a couple weeks.

Both mine here..2nd time too...had them pierced when I was 18...had them re-done when I was 22...still have em 4 years later.

Pain? Eh...it's really not that bad...it's intense but it's not traumatic or anything...at least not to me. Don't go into it thinking it won't hurt though because it does and it will.

After the initial pain it's not really so bad...I don't know why someone would have pain for 2-3 weeks...try 2-3 days...at the most. I popped some advil afterward and it helped immensely.

What sucks about nipple piercings is healing time...I've had mine for 4 years and I still will have the occasional problem with em...bottom line...don't touch em...clean em at least once a day with Dial...use Aquaphor or a similar product to keep them from drying out...and...as much as you'd like to, don't let you girlfriend (or boyfriend I guess) put their mouth on em...not until their 100% healed.

My buddy had it done and after six months, he said "fvck it" and hasn't worn anything since. That was four years ago.

Yeah, because having a ring on your finger these days most certainly equates to maturity, given all the kids who think they're ready for marriage. And no, I'm not referring to you or your soon-to-be wife. I'm just stating that getting engaged by no means makes you mature.

And I'm happy your mom approves. I, personally, wouldn't have the desire to be with someone who finds nipple rings appealing. To each their own though.

Had a waiter at hamburger hamlet restaurant. He wore a tight tee, with gold rings fed thru the tee, into the skin, so the rings were on the outside. An interesting look. But... if you were unhappy with your order, an easy grab to pull him down to ear level, to complain. Interesting look, bad ideal.
