This absolutely blows my mind. I read about 15 posts that made claims that were completely untrue and spouted them as if they were fact.
Surprise everyone... Muslim's believe Jesus was the son of god. OMG. Can you believe that. And guess what else, Allah = god. WHAT? REALLY? Does that mean it is the same heaven? Yeppers!
It actually disturbs me significantly. Wonder if a good deal of the problems we have with other cultures may be that we act like we know them even though a majority of us have no clue at all.
No, I can't believe that, because AFAIK it's not true.
The way a normal Christian would view Jesus being the son of god is the same as an Islam. He was born of virgin birth, performed miracles, died on a cross, ascended to heaven, rose from the dead and is currently alive and well in heaven. When Mohammad died, he was dead and rose to heaven. He is not alive in heaven as Jesus is.

Muslims believe that Jesus (called 'Isa in Arabic) was the son of Mary, and was conceived without the intervention of a human father. The Qur'an describes that an angel appeared to Mary, to announce to her the "gift of a holy son" (19:19). She was astonished at the news, and asked: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?" (19:20). When the angel explained to her that she had been chosen for the service of God, and that God had ordained the matter, she devoutly submitted herself to His will.
