Pardon me if I observe, when a democratic spokesmen maybe overstates the case and gets questioned, it only proves that almost every GOP member will climb on that bandwagon claiming a ripped to schreds victory. While it also somewhat validates the GOP belief that if one democrat is wrong in their mind, all democrats are FOS. While at the same time, even if some open mindind democrat may think the spokesman over stated the case, it does not cause any democrats to reject the democratic party.
At the same time when the shoe is on the other foot, we can find probaly more GOP spokesmen saying even more outragious things. As almost all democrats climb on that bandwagon and claim the GOP just got ripped to schreds. And if one GOP spokesman is FOS, it equally validates the democratic contention, that if one GOP spokesman is FOS, the entire GOP is. Meanwhile back at the GOP ranch, a few open minded GOP members may say, maybe that one GOP spokesman may have overstated the case, but they will still vote GOP.
The race for POTUS in 2012 is barely started, as this campaign is likely to get to be nothing but a bunch of mudslinging in a few months. Anything we have seen before will seem mild by comparison.
