Disturbing images........

Yes, that was unfortunate.

Saddam must be removed NOW!

Did you think you were going to get a bunch of people that did not know that war kills people.

Many of your pictures were of Kurds that Saddam was trying to kill right AFTER the war. Your little peace Tool site did not bother mentioning that.

Thanks for the propaganda show.

war is war, what are you gonna do. be thankful it's not the US soliders that are the ones being carried away in trucks.

Yep, they all died after raping and killing thousands of Kuwaites. No one forced, except maybe Saddam, to be there. I guess they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I wonder if the guys that survived will be just as screwed up as some of the Vietnam vets.

I never stated my views on the war, and I never thought the above... cute how those like you are quick to jump to arms. Go on ranting little one, and continue to make ASSumptions.

I'm not sure why but my first reaction is that people are morons for being shocked by images like these. I'm amazed by the number of people who don't understand the chaos and destruction caused by a low level conflict, let alone a full blown war. Then they see these and think "If only we could show this to everyone, there would be no more war".

There will always be psychotic dictators/leaders willing to inflict huge horrors on others. Conflict is part of human nature and it won't disappear anytime soon. Just because you won't do/consider something does not mean the guy a couple blocks or half a world away wouldn't do it.

Dezign, don't take any of this as applying to you, I just know too many people who have no idea what happens outside the US. This is just my reaction to those images of how ugly this world can be and what actions can be required of us.

Settle down Jimbo. If people are going to support a war, they really should have an idea of what the outcome looks like.

carbonizing = extreme flash heating, burns very hot, very fast, so that the object being burned retains original shape. I wonder how long someone can survive in this situation. I would think that it would be a pretty instantaneous death.

Eh.. I'm immune to those images. (the dead people) I only really care about those that weren't fighting for Saddam - like the refugees. Screw the Iraqi soldiers.

Any war sucks... but war brings out the worst and best of humanity.

The only photos in this collection that moved me, were those of the Kuwaiti people who were mauled twice over by these Iraqi invaders.
I feel no shame or remorse for my countries actions and consequences as a result of our fight in the Gulf. Many of those photographed dead, were with their brethren who raped, plundered and executed innocent Kuwaiti citizens for the simple fact that they were Kuwaiti.

They were thugs, who ended up getting their asses kicked all the way back to the Iraqi homeland they shouldve never left.

Good Riddance.

Okay, how do you figure that. All I see is a thread that shows sadness for the many deaths that occured from the Gulf Coast war. Thousands died because of one man.

Ah yes. Once your faulty logic has been pointed out, you panic and stoop to personal attacks. Typical.

You just revealed your preconceptions, nothing more. She stated nothing, just shared something worth considering, especially as the government and news agencies do heavily censor what we see on the news. Many understand the horrors and wish it could be avoided, but also understand the necessity of the coming war. Don't label me an antiwar protestor simply because I mourn for the cost of the war.

Just more imagery of how cool our weapons are when we use them. Too bad we don't get to see the friendly fires as well.
