Disposing of battery packs in WI

Anyone know where to go to dispose of battery packs in WI? My boss asked me to research this and since its a commercial waste nobody will take them. Any Ideas?

Just hire some shady local garbage company and not worry about where they dispose of it. It's on their hands now and it's on the hands of the overseeing EPA to actually audit their disposal process.

Do you have Batteries Plus stores there? I believe they accept any type of battery for recycling.

I have a paper with 16 phone numbers on it, I called the landfill and they give me a super runaround.

my Best buy has a bin for batteries in the entryway

In the trash, where I put all my paint etc. Its so hard to get rid of anything.

but, Home Depots have rechargable battery bins. Probably meant for cordless tools, but they should go the same place...
