Disposing of battery packs in WI

It's like the weight of the world is on your shoulders because you can't figure out how to get rid of some batteries.

Valid options presented:

1. Contact your local land fill (I assume they have those in where you are)
2. Sell on Ebay (Yes, valid - they will probably sell in a lot)
3. Take them to a Batteries Plus.
4. Call Best Buy (Or Radio Shack, Circuit City, et al) and see if they will take them.

I'm sure I could find ten places to get rid of them.

Challenge:
What city are you in?
How many units do you need to get rid of?

Let's see...

Sure, I may have an IQ of 6, but I wouldn't have to post on an internet BB just to get rid of batteries. 😉

None of those will dispose of commercial waste, I have already spent hours trying to find some company that will dispose of these, I found one but its actually in Indiana:Q, I need one in WI. Its not like I justed hop on here to ask you guys to do my job, Ive already researched this myself and came up dry. Thanks to everyone who tried to help. A big bowl of shibt to you thread crappers. Funny post are welcome, I can always use a good laugh, but no thread crapping.
 
Could you explain why laptop batteries are considered "commercial waste"? I don't understand why you can't take them to any of the places mentioned that accept batteries for recycling.
 
Consisdered Commercial waste because we are a business disposing of our waste in large amounts. Batteries plus said the will dispose of all are battery waste only if we sell their batteries.
 
Here is a list of licensed hazardous waste treatment facilities in WI. I would start with Onyx, or whoever is closest to you. It may be expensive, but it is your best bet if you are looking for proper handling and disposal.
 
I didnt answer casue i didnt know myself, my boss just said in allot of them. 103 Laptop battery packs, 68 other misc. batteries. happy?
