Sorry, don't mean to be annoying but I've already said before that I had completely uninstalled the game already and removed it from the system.

soz i must have over looked that ..also bsod`s are generally hardware issues..but it seems odd if the system was fine before loading that game

I'm sorry for my tone, but after having tried several different things and suggestions from lots of different people which involved several ways of installing the drivers for my card if you had read the whole thread, what you're asking me now is if the support page that has the drivers I've obviously already downloaded helps? I'm sorry, but I don't think you should bother clogging the thread for myself or future people who might use it by posting things that have already been discussed. I appreciate the effort but you're making things more complicated, not easier.

plug video card into different slot see if the board finds it an hook`s up the drivers

how hot is your cpu ???
You know, the thing is that Windows wouldn't be able to recognize the card in Device Manager if the PCI slot was bad.
It's not hot. No hotter than usual.

If you only changed software, it's unlikely it created a hardware issue (but anything is possible without more details)
Thanks, what other details would you need to help figure it out?

UPDATE: Wiped everything with Display Driver Uninstaller disabled the on board VGA adapter, reinstalled from the oldest driver released from 2011, still getting the nvidia driver blue screen. Nothing else on the computer is causing problems. I think I'm done with this card. I'll be picking up the AMD R9 270X.
