I live in Louisville, KY. Grew up in Michigan, where I would watch many of the Red Wings games on cable. My GF bought me a year of Dish Network service (first time ever having satellite), and specifically she ordered a package that included channel 430 (Fox Sports Detroit).
In the 10 days that I've had the Dish service, 3 Red Wings games were scheduled for air on Fox Sports Detroit, and all three of them were unavailable for me to view due to local restrictions. I called Dish to inquire and some dude reading off of a script attempted to explain something to me about blackouts and how they (Dish) has no control over it, blah blah.
Kinda frustrating, but I guess it's just the way it is. I'm just wondering how common this is? Like I said I'm 0 for 3 so far and and this point I'm wondering if I'll ever be able to see a Detroit game, period. Worst sports package ever so far.
