That doesn't make you any sort of contributor to the boards, so I do not believe you answered my question.

What kind of contributor to the boards do you wish to be?

The kind who does not adopt bad feedback. Just because you do not like the answer does not mean it is not the answer. Maybe you are just not asking the question very well. Answer it for yourself so I can see what you are really asking.

Sorry, can you make the connection between the question I asked and the answer you provided? I'm clearly not able to see how your response follows from my question.

If you don't want to waste time elaborating simply for my ignorant benefit, I understand.

So you are unable to answer your own question to your own satisfaction either. Interesting tht it makes you angry when I cannot, but you are fine that you cannot.

No no, I can certainly answer it. My not answering it was not an admission of not being able to, as you infer.

Do you believe you are entitled to my answer first?

In order for me to understand what you are actually asking, I requested you answer your own question. If you are unwilling to do so (instead of being incapable), then you are effectively saying you are unwilling for me to understand what you are actually asking.

You can either answer your own question so I can understand what you are asking, or not and therefor ensure I do not understand what your are asking. The choice is yours, but without understanding your question, I cannot answer it. If you wish an answer, you need to provide your own answer.

I do not need to provide my own answer. I can examine how I might be better served by re-phrasing my question. There are options.

But I'll give each option some thought and perhaps decide on one or the other in a bit. If you decide to volunteer more information about your intent as a poster in P&N, feel free.

I think you should also look at these opinion polls, where all the answers are derogatory or one sided or completely idealogical.

Ya, like people who over and over belittle people based on religion.

Religious bigotry is really strong in this forum. You see Romney continually attacked on being a Mormon, comments on his and his wife Ann's underwear. Attacks on priests and other Christian groups. Hatred and bigotry aimed at the religious right is extreme.

You are right. Especially the extreme hatred and bigotry aimed at Muslims. It outnumbers all the other religious bigotry 100 to 1. All religious hate should be against the rules.

I don't think it's 100 to 1, but it certainly is present.

I'm sorry. Could you not follow the conversation?

Our discussion was about taking or not taking bad advice...you "forgot" that part when you put in your timeline. I will help you "remember":

I listen to all feedback. I throw away the bad feedback, like yours, and keep the good feedback, like much of what IDC told me.

To what end? What kind of contributor to the boards do you wish to be?

While I agree, where would the line be drawn. Is saying you think religion is the realm of the weak minded who need a crutch to live their life considered hatred and bigotry? It is obviously bigotry, but should it be stopped?

Ah, I see the misunderstanding there. You thought I was speaking solely about your relationship to advice, where I was asking the broader question about your intent as a poster of the boards just in general.

I didn't realize you'd gotten bogged down in the detail, but I can see how I didn't pull you out of there with enough effort.

My mistake. I won't expect you to answer my broader question as I know you prefer specifics and precision.

Reakingly ripe:

Maybe we need some prophet toilet paper.

Ive seen some stories about police using rubber bullets. Muslims are just taught that Murder is what you do when you dont like someone. In fact killing non-muslims is like exterminating a monkey or a rat. It is not even considered murder because non-muslims are not people. Can you really do anything for people that think like that? Let them starve.

Muslim=Murderer!

The real problem is that old commandment about not killing people. How can we ever trust a culture that believes that it is OK to kill people you do not agree with? Are muslims really just blood-thirsty animals? If so we should kick them all our of our country. How can we ever trust such a society?

They dont believe in freedom of speech or freedom of religion, so why are we helping them? We are in debt to our eyballs trying to help them. We should not even bother. Reagan had it right pull out of the middle east and bid them farewell.

Muslims are just savages.
...
Since violence is all muslims understand maybe that is what is called for.

Piasabird, a bloody, insulting, disgusting, and violently genocidal hypocrite. This is but one of many who are of the likes that are attracted to and fostered by AnandTech, a very real and present Stormfront that welcomes and thereby promotes the hatred and motives for violence that must make Ander Breivik proud.

Moderators, your call. Substitute Muslim for 'black' or 'Jew' in the above inciting hate speech and check if the call would be different.

o_O:

monovillage, you are among the chief offenders:

Welshbloke: So you're saying that Muslims are vermin to be exterminated?

monovillage: There's a reason that stereotypes have survived for so many centuries.

Maybe we can start printing images of Mohammad fucking a pig on $10,000 bills and letting the Muslims know that they can buy them and burn them to teach us a lesson.

I was just trying to solve the debt crisis! Now how about you look for some Christian bashing to go along with the Muslim bashing. or do you think that the constant and unremitting attacks on some religions are perfectly OK ? I bet it took you 1/2 an hour to find my remarks. Thanks.

I am curious why you refuse to answer your own question.

Simply because it shouldn't be required. I believed my question clear enough that you'd be able to answer it. That apparently not being so is just a challenge to find a better phrasing. Answering it myself would create boundaries where I'd prefer there not to be any. I'd like you to feel open to answering as you please. You did. That answer tells me something about you.

I've accepted that you won't discuss your motives or intent further.
