Dorsey is a real dumbass. I only watched the first two episodes. I can't believe they are 6 episodes in and have only found 2 ounces of gold. What a bunch of fuckups. I hope discovery isn't paying them anything. I knew it was going to be a complete disaster after watching them try to get the equipment over the river at the start of the show.

I could go to the wilderness and make an ass of myself for money too 😀

edit: If I were that BAMF old guy I would probably go down and kill them all in their sleep for the lulz.

The 15yr old nephew of the Millionaire neighbor should return to these morons mine site, kick the shit out of them, call them morons, and then tell them for a 50% stake in all future proceeds he will teach them what they have been doing wrong for the past 2.5-months.

They have 50-buckets of black sand. My assumption is they panned maybe 10 of those buckets to get to the 2.5ounces they found.

Instead of building cabins, logging, and going Salmon fishing - they should have been panning the black sand.

Also - they have found no nuggets. None! biggest flake they have found is maybe $20. I think they are looking in the wrong place.

And yes - if you visit any mining area - there are shops that pay you for your gold dust in "straight cash homey" by weighing it and using the current spot rate.

I normally abhor reality TV but my brother had me DVR this for him & it is quite entertaining.

I don't know what inspires someone who has managed to accumulate $250K in assets to dump it all into something like this, not to mention dragging their families out into the wilderness. But it does make for an entertaining 45 minutes once a week.

Also bobdole369 they mentioned in the bear shooting scene that he had a tag for it, so at least they did that right.

That kid is going to be loaded once the old man croaks and he takes over.

new episode is on tonight.

Based on the trailers, what are your predictions that causes them to shut down operations because "they have been doing it all wrong"

Backwards shaker is my guess ... in the previews they were ripping it up.

Honestly, I hope they strike some gold.

I've yet to watch an episode, but seeing the preview for the episode makes me wonder if it's all been "backwards" to create fake drama for the show

It was so obvious they would get money from the sister. 3 episodes left, if they didn't get the loan what would they of filmed. I also think they should put more faith in the new guy, he has experience, they don't. I would welcome valuable info from anyone who knows what they are doing.

The thing i dont understand is they are out of money, just a couple of days of fuel left. mine owner and his buddies along with a expert that Todd called in told them they were doing it all wrong and how to make the changes... so what does the old goat do? he fires up the big ass earth mover and runs it dry digging holes all over the damn place. PLUS any common sense tell them to run their tailings back through the plant to get the gold they washed away....

i really hope the preview for next week is just hype and that the morphine addict really didnt shove the mine owners expert. speaking of that it was halarius when the the dakota boy told todd to use the bucket to push the new grizzly bars down and the dumbass guy with the crow bar yells out STFU!! lol lol lol. wow so spend a hour fucking with it instead of trying dakotas suggestion. when Todd finally did use the bucket, they had the holes lined up in 5 min. i hope the mine owner kicks them out.

LOL @ Todd for asking his sister for 40K then acting like an ass. man if i ever had the balls to ask my sister for $40,000 you better believe i would be licking her toe cheese. she ended up giving him $25,000. honestly i wouldn't not have given him the money. hell they just blew 250K in 3 months and only produces 2 ounces of gold. lol no way would i give those bozos a dime.

I work in gold/copper engineering process plants. If they only blew 250,000 and they managed to get back a few ounces, they have done better than 90% of the companies out there doing the same thing.

They would have been better off spending the 250K on a plane and flying hunters around Alaska.... then they could have pitched that as a reality show.

or a bunch of these:

That would have been a horrible horrible idea. Planes cost waaaay more than just the purchase price, especially since none of them would be able to fly it.

So, so true. If I don't *facepalm* over some 250k+ project at least once a week it is a slow, slow week.
