OMG. I forgot about those. I remember my friends and I running to 7-11 to buy some after we watched one of the movies.

I don't know if anyone will remember these but they were awesome.

TBO, can't think of anything. I just looked up two candy bars I used to love and found them. Not much into candy bars anymore.

Burger King had hot dogs for about six months, and they were really damn good. Nice change of pace if you visit there frequently.

Oh, if anyone was missing Orange Julius, about two year ago I discovered they merged with Dairy Queen. So go have fun.
So, I can go to a Dairy Queen and get an Orange Julius?

I used to make my own. Did a LOT of research. Here's a good recipe which is in line with what it says at Wikipedia:

Couple ice cubes, crushed in blender, then:

1 mediumish navel orange (quartered, peeled)
1/2 t. vanilla extract
2 T sugar
3 T ice water
2-3 T nonfat dry milk powder
1 to 1.5 t. egg white powder

I always have all that at home except for oranges, I only have them once in a while. If you have frozen OJ, that would work, of course.

so, in the flintstones, there's that scene in the opening where they are served some mammoth ribs.

for 40 odd years i thought they were being given a chair.
