Nabisco Fruit Wheats cereal
Fruity filling in a shredded-wheat envelope

Kashi has a similar product nowadays though, to alleviate our longing.

I found that pizza to be ok. Not good enough to keep people coming back for more, but the best pizza you could get as fast as a burger.... the only pizza you could get as fast as a burger. Better than the frozen pizzas of the time, but any restaurant could do much better.

I miss the original California Cooler. The one with the deep, rich taste and bits of fruit pulp floating in it.

Puts that Bartles&James carbonated sugar water to shame.

My Mom sent me across the street to get a box of cereal way back in the 70's. I was told they don't sell it anymore. I ran home crying my eyes out.

I think I remember seeing a newspaper that day saying Elvis died. Not a good day

Not discontinued, but becoming increasing hard to find in stores. Apparently, the fad is now protein bars. Only one local grocery store still carries them, and only the peanut butter variety.

When I read the thread title, the first thing that came to mine was Planter's Cheez Ballz!

Was there something particularly great about those balls that today's cheese balls lack? I've always been a fan of the not crunchy Cheetos, but never explored the cheese ball form factor.

I used to take powerbars WW paddling. After being in cold water a few hours, you could remove teeth with those things :^D I did like them though. Weird texture, but they were pretty good. Haven't had one in years.

I will travel hours looking for good protein bars..I will go to all the major brand stores and they will say "we don't sell that"

but i just got your online ad today saying you had a sale on them...its frustrating as hell.

They have Mario Odyssey cereal now, but it lacks the distinct awesomeness of having half Zelda cereal. 🙁
