A post in P & N said someone in Mexico called to say two Iraqis and four Chinese were smuggled across the border, and this is the reason for the alert.

This is BS, read the article. The entire threat comes from a Mexican source who claims he shuttled two Iraqis and four Chinese across the border and they told him a bomb would follow. Why would Iraqis and Chinese be working together? Why would they tell a random guy they were bring a nuke over later? Why would they even be dealing with a Mexican border smuggler, if you have a nuke you'd better be better organized than that.

It is currently reported on Boston.com and Bostonherald.com. There is no confirmation of anything, but in this day and age every reported threat has to be taken seriously. Go take your hate mongering somewhere else.

yip but if you start talk about building a wall on the US/Mexican border people go crazy... Why should the terrorist go through the hastle of airports when they can just hide in a truck and be driven over the border with ease and to any location they so desire. If something isnt done soon about the border problem it will bite us in the ass soon.

Most of us have no more than the speculation you are working on. We have access to the same information as you. So far no one has posted quite probably because there in nothing to post as of yet. Hell, most here have no idea what a dirty bomb explosion means in an objective sense. The only rumor I heard is that there are two Iraqis and four Chinese smuggled across the border. True? I have no frigging idea.
In the meantime you know OT is not the hub of erudite intellectualism. If this gets serious then you'll get more info. I'll see what I can find out elsewhere.
