The release of games using it is less than 2 years away, which means it'll be in developers hands well before then.
did any of the 750Ti retail box have any DX12 Ready logo's on them if this has been in the works for a long time , not like nv to miss that marketing plus.

That chart is completely useless as a reference, as they used Windows 7. Windows 8/8.1 would have closed the gap considerably..

If you're going to compare Mantle to DirectX, at least compare it using the best examples..

I'm sure we'll see some DX12 updates for certain games before native DX12 games start shipping.
Cannot see images.

I'll have to ask again, because this thread is nothing but marketing BS being shoveled in this forum. DX12 doesn't exist, it's empty PR.

Where are the DX12 vs DX11 vs Mantle benchmarks?

If Microsoft wants us to believe their marketing they need to prove that what they say is true. But you can't expect that from a company who constantly LIES about their commitment to PC gaming.

and poop all over other people's work?
I don't think that's how things work.

Perhaps that wouldn't be as healthy as it may look for NV

just like the next gen e3 demos running on nvidia gpus
the racing game playing in vlc on intel demo a while back
like the gaming tower from amd that had a trinity laptop inside

there are many instances where tech demos could be faking it.

What about Samaritan Demo? Nothing fake there.
At some point, you have to trust someone...

@Gloomy

LOOL yeah whats up with that. Still no benchmarks!!!

Even AMD did not benchmark when until it was officially released.
MS is not AMD.AMD marketing is BS most time and it has proven.
As for DX 12 it will be better than Mantle due to experience and support.
Percentage of user will be much more higher than Mantle user and it will not be Patch or Add on for developers.

Of course it is. We are talking 2 years before we see it, an epic example of vaporware if there ever was one. But a very needed PR move, Mantle has MS and to a great extent Nvidia very concerned, I have no doubt about this.

The good news is, we will all benefit as it is definitely "game on".

Firstly you're basically saying MS is way better at shoveling the crap than AMD. The rest of your post is fanciful speculation.

Lol. This is hilarious. In two years when dx12 is in a game I will look at benchmarks and decide what GPU to buy. In the meantime I will enjoy all the benefits of mantle today.

Everyone else enjoy your slides.

you are assuming that mantle and dx12 dont intersect design wise being such similar concepts.

lol in 2 games? and basically little to no increase in performance if you have a proper cpu in the first place.

Me too LOL.
In both games. When Plants vs. Zombies ships.

And I don't say that with tongue in cheek. It's a great API when it works.

Where is DX12? You expect me to believe empty PR slides? Are you trying to insult my intelligence?

Although the GTX 770 scores seem a bit off to me..

Oh boy, Nvidia cards can match AMD cards if you upgrade your OS and buy a 350 dollar CPU and also overclock it 32%.

Tell me, how many Nvidia users have a haswell cpu @ 4.6ghz?

Lmao? I thought I heard some crying foul at the way Mantle benchmarks were handled here just yesterday.
