My gf was telling me about how she used to dip toast in eggs, something about cutting the toast into strips and dipping it into a cooked egg in the shell??

Has anyone ever heard of this? I googled and came up with nothing except sunny-side up egg dipping, which I don't think is the same thing...

take sunny side up eggs, and dip the buttered toast into the runny yokes
in this house we call them dip dip eggs and they have been clogging our arteries for years

A lot of people I know do it, but I've always preferred my eggs reasonably dry. I don't like the runny stuff.

Hmmm.... I never thought about tortillas as a toast substitute, excellent idea :)
