The '09 Maybach 62s has 604 HP, so even though it weighs twice as much it will out accelerate a Corvette. The Maybachalso has MUCH better brakes, and will stop faster than the 'Vette.

You are probably expecting the 'Vette to obliterate the Maybach in the slalom, but it is actually very close, dispite the Maybach weighing in at 3000 lbs more than the 'Vette. The speeds are 62.4mph and 60.4 respectively.

You need to learn that 3000 lbs of luxury can be negated by a good suspension. Welcome to engineering.

No, I know exactly what the car is and what it can do, there's a reason it costs what it does My point is, when was the last time you saw a Maybach / Bentley / Rolls (none of which are short on power) wrapped around a telephone pole like the continually surfacing pics of 110 mph smashed Lamborghinis. I'm not saying this car won't be dangerous in a 16 year old's hands, but it's definitely a more sane alternative to buying the kid an LP-640.

Yeah I was wondering this too. Black, white, brown, orange or whatever, rappers are notorious for getting involved gun fights and drive-bys. Because they talk shit in their songs about each other. The kid could very well end up getting waxed if Puffy pissed off the wrong assholes. There's nothing racist about that.

LOL what? Rappers are not notorious for getting involved in gun fights and drive bys. Have some? Sure, and there are rock stars who have shot people too. The media is notorious for hyping and making shit up. Like when Jam Master Jay from Run DMC was shot and killed. CNN said "gangster rapper Jam Master Jay was shot in the head" only problem, he wasn't a gangster, and never rapped once.

I don't listen to Diddy's music, but I know he's about as far from a gangster as you can get. He raps about being rich and being famous. And he makes club music not thug music. Yeah a lot of rappers do talk shit, but the vast majority leave it there and never actually shoot anyone. Remember for every story you hear on the news about a rapper in trouble, there are a thousand who haven't done shit. Tommy Lee is more violent than all but a few rappers...
