Did your parents ever have the "talk" with you?

Watching all these teen movies and then speaking with some of my friends I realized that most parents have the "sex talk" with their kids at one point or another.

Mine never did! The day before I was leaving for college my dad handed me a box of condoms and said (I'm not kidding) "Good luck son, you should know what to do by now" Anybody else have the "talk" with their parents?
 
me or none of my friends ever had their parents talk about it

they figured school was doing it now so they didnt have to

and im all the more happy for that
 
Yeah, after they discovered my small stash of porn mags. Kind of hard to have a meaningful talk after that point. 😀
 
No they havent and I am 33 years old and still waiting. What could be taking so long? I dont know what to do with my wiener and have these wierd feelings when I am talking to girls 😛
 
Nope, we had sex ed in 5th grade. Though my mom did once request that I wait until after I graduated from high school to start becoming sexually active. I did, waited a good four days or so after graduation, heh.
 
In the fifth grade, my mom told me that when I was ready to get fitted for a diaphram, to tell her and she'd take me to the doctor.
In the seventh grade, my dad asked me if I got my period yet, and I was so embarassed about it, I didn't talk to him for days.
As you can see, talks with the parents didn't go too well for me.

Damn, 5th grade! Makes me wonder what your mom was doing in 5th grade. 😉
 
I did. My dad did the ol' index finger through the circled fingers gesture, I keeled over laughing, and the talk was over.
 
My mother made an attempt, blurting out something about how I shouldn't have sex until I was at least 16. Oddly enough, when I was 18 and she barged in on my g/f and I about to go at it, she screamed bloody murder, scaring my g/f so badly she never spoke to me again. What a bitch.
 
Nah, they didn't. Dad found traces of porn on our old computer (b/c I was a newb back then), asked me about it, said: "good job, son" and left it at that.
