I've been here 11 yrs, and we only got a bonus one of those years. The bonus was a 10lb bag of some unknown and not very tasty sausage.

Our revenue took a big hit, so no bonuses this year. Being upper management I have the opportunity to help turn that around and get a huge bonus. Assuming the company doesn't go under. 😛

TBH, I still don't actually know.

they gave out gift certificates, but I'm not sure if the gift certificates are in lieu of the actual bonus or something to make up for the lack of a holiday party this year.

it's certainly better than nothing, but the GC value is about half of what my bonus was last year.

All bonuses this year are gone 🙁 The boss even cut how much contribution I was getting for my health insurance!

I recieved a 5 year gift of cash towards anything I wanted plus a better bonus then any of my previous years.
