Did you know this about MSG?

Never knew how they made mice fat and get diabetes, now I do. Lol

Hah I knew there was a reason to never eat anything soy!

italian food is massively loaded with msg, most of this is just racism.

i didnt watch that video but i know msg makes things like fried rice and chow fun taste good so i wouldnt worry about it

"monosodium glutamate... You can't even say it!"

"I can say 'rat droppings'... it does not mean I want to eat them"

Name that movie!!! :awe:

You know... I know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth... the MSG is telling my brain that it is... juicy...and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss.

god damn you Cypher!

MSG leaves a bad aftertaste. It's a way to add flavor, without adding anything expensive.

Actually it makes most things taste better by activating the 5th taste. Just like salt makes everything taste better, MSG adds a nice savory flavor. I use it when cooking at home, it's almost as important as salt.

There's nothing wrong with MSG if it's used at a normal rate, just like salt. The whole MSG thing is fear-mongering at it's finest.

also known as Ajinomoto

who calls it that?

I know Ajinomoto is an amino acid company that primarily makes MSG--I know this, b/c in high school we took a field trip there....for our Japanese class, lol.

only reason being that it is a Japanese class and we got to eat at Kanki after that for, you know, some Japanese culture. wtf.

they were the original developer and patent holder. so the trade name often takes the place of the product name.
