did you have a big wedding?

that's big alright. if you don't mind me asking, what nationality are you?

we had about 280 i think. way too many for my likes. actually, i wanted to go away somewhere tropical and do it, but i liked the end result of our big ass traditional wedding.
 
I am Indian, we are having a big traditional wedding with lots of people, this is going to be in India ofcourse, 3 more weeks, wow 😛
 
No... about 100 people at mine. I don't even know 500-600 people, let alone like enough to invite them to my wedding.
 
invited 250, got 230... it was Labor Day weekend (sunday before) so we were expecting a lot less would accept too...
 
1st off, Congratulations to you and the bride to be!! My husband and I had a small wedding of about 50 people. Mostly my family, because his family is in India. He has always told me though, that hundreds of people attend traditional Indian weddings. Sometimes I wish we were married in India, with such beautiful Indian ceremonies and traditions, but our wedding here was lovely. We will be "recelebrating" our vowes when we visit his family next year, so I will have a small taste of his beautiful, romantic culture.

Mine was. My Mom picked, she asked me how I liked the girl and then I told her she was good looking, then after 6 months, went to india got married
 
I had like 90 something at my wedding, and there were still people that I didn't know. The wedding cost like 6 grand, which my parents split. Our money gifts totalled up to 6 grand.

I would have personally rather had a 50 person backyard BBQ wedding, but my opinion never counts.

😱 Well, it was almost 12 years ago and was just a JOP thing. I'd have to look at pictures to be sure.
