Noted that it uses a lot more resources than Winamp or Media Player 6.4 though.

well I hope your computer can spare more resources than it did back when 6.4 was released so (for me at least) its not that big of a deal

9 sucks, I couldn't uninstall it, I hope this final release has an uninstall.
The final version is out now. I have not tried uninstalling it (nor can I imagine why I would want to).
THe final version doesn't have an uninstall either... it suggests that you set a restore point and use system restore to uninstall instead.
Only installed it on my work laptop... won't be doing it for my home machine because of this. 😉Originally posted by: MichaelD

That is the exact reason why I will not be installing it. I use 7.1 without that update the enables the deletion rights. 😛
hmm minimized and did what you said... no WMP toolbar in the list... but address, links, etc. is there. Using W2k.Originally posted by: neomits
no... minimize the player and it'll go to the taskbar, then right click on the taskbar go to toolbars and select WindowsMediaPlayer

Ditto. When WMP 7 came out, I was so unimpressed that I stuck with 6.4, which does everything I want it to do anyway. For mp3s, I use Winamp or an equivalent tool.
