idk, the idea that chasing ass was such an all-consuming task in your life for 10+ years that you had no room for any other hobbies/activities makes me kinda sad.Wow... OP's question makes me sad for our youth.
I wasted hours on the NES and SNES until I hit junior high. Then I spent the next decade+ on getting ass, having fun with my friends, and living... NOT working on computers. Once I got married and settled down, ONLY THEN did I consider video games again or computers as a hobby.

nonstop for 10+ years with literally 0 free time to do anything else? it does sound kinda awful.Yeah, getting laid and partying was just awful. Think of all the gaming I missed out on![]()
No but I bet you had a pet pig before you had your first girlfriend unless you count that as your first girlfriend.I'm 48. I would be one hell of a loser if the answer was yes. Since I am not like the normal little boys around here the answer is absolutely not.

you seemed to imply that it's an either/or choice.Maybe you should learn to read and comprehend. I said I didn't have time for gaming/computers; when or where did I say I had time for nothing else? Let's see, I was in a band (which coincidentally helped with getting ass), ran track, played baseball (again, ass)... still managed decent grades. Wouldn't trade those years for anything in the world, and the bonus is that I shared them with my current wife, even though we never dated during that time, so we have a very long common history.
God... if only I gamed more, though, right? Sorry I hit such a sore spot with you though. Do locker rooms freak you out by any chance?
Now, don't be an idiot and continue assuming anything. I see you're interested in what you missed out on, so just ask buddy![]()
Yes. Built my first computer around 14 or 15. I can't recall specifically. It would have been earlier if I had the money.
you seemed to imply that it's an either/or choice.
I implied nothing nothing of the sort, other than the fact that gaming wasn't even remotely on my radar. You just overreacted (rather defensively) to my comment, that's all.
well, when you start off saying that you pity anyone who's such a loser that they have time in their life to build a computer
am I mischaracterizing it?Apparently the only way you can formulate an argument or response is by putting words in my mouth, so whatever kid![]()
OP's question makes me sad for our youth.
We'll translate the question for the pre-computer geezer.

Mine was a Heathkit... tune amp. :fap:
