Even if he is right...

The "evidence" to support the invasion of Iraq was about as trumped up as it could have been...Notice how once no WMD's were found, the "official reasons" kept changing?

"OMG! They have teh WMD's!"

"OMG! Saddam is killing his peeples!"

"OMG! Iraq is supporting teh terrerests!!"

"OMG! Iraq has teh OIL!"
 
He'd been giving the UN the middle finger for 20 years. He was MURDERING Iraqis and Kuatis. We HAVE sat images of him taking shit on trucks out the back of factories the UN folks were finally allowed to go inspect and trucked across the boarder. We DID find weapons of mass destruction that have been banned by the Geneva Convention, a whole huge list of them and the list was declassified and posted here years ago.

The info is there. People simply want to believe whatever fits their agenda. If they want to ignorantly believe that we went to the middle east for oil or some other dumbass spin, just let them be stupid.

His WMD development program was basically dead after the first gulf war right up till the invasion.

Poor ole Colon Powell walked into his office after giving the UN speech on why we should go to war with Iraq, looked at his chief of staff and stated...Wonder what people are going to think when we drop 500,000 troops into Iraq, march from one end of the country to the other, and find absolutely nothing? oops.

The war in Iraq ended a long time ago... The occupation of Iraq is still ongoing. If you want to try to say the wars still on then you can't really say WWII ended in 1945 either.
